I, and a few Fotopages Malaysia & PhotoMalaysia friends went to Bagan Lalang Beach near Sepang for an Outdoor Photography Class conducted by Sifoo Ted Adnan ( http://ted.fotopages.com ). It was a fun and exciting experience, learning how to play around with several lighting condition. Thanks to our model, Miss Mala for her patience and cheerful attitude.

I’ve the opportunity to attend the CIMB KL Open Squash Championship 2006 at Berjaya Times Square. It's the semi-final between national squash queen and world No. 1 Nicol David and world No. 4 Natalie Grinham of Australia.
As any avid photographer, my sole objective is to get the best picture of the games. It’s a high profile games so you need a press or a photographer pass to get into the area. While scouting for a place to shoot, I decided to enter the area reserved only for the press media. I was very fortunate to get away with it hahahaha . It was a thrilling experience, enjoy the picture and any tips/comment are most welcome.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 18 (Bernama) -- Saturday is set to be the D-day for Women Squash World No. 1 Nicol David when she faces arch-rival World No. 2 Vanessa Atkinson of Holland at the women's final of the CIMB KL Open Squash Championship 2006 at Berjaya Times Square.This time around, Nicol may have to try a little harder and put in more effort after her recent loss to Atkinson in the Apawanis Open in New York two weeks ago, considering that she suffered a minor cramp in the semi-final match Friday and the fact that she is playing in front of a home crowd who regard her as a national hero.
In the semi-final match at the same venue here Friday evening, Nicol defeated World No. 4 Natalie Grinham of Australia 4-9, 3-9, 9-2, 9-2, 10-9. Despite losing to Grinham in the first two sets, Nicol, who also fell after a serve in the first set, regained her composure and took the lead in the following two sets.However, in the fifth set, Grinham sprang back and threw a stiff challenge for Nicol, causing much tension and pressure not only for the players but also the spectators at the shopping mall.She ended the game in 63 minutes to cheers and applause from the crowd.The large number of spectators at the shopping mall, who consisted of sports fans and shoppers, did help to spur the national squash queen to give of her best.
"I guessed I had the advantage playing on homeground and everyone here gave me the support.
"I'm just glad that I pulled through despite it being a tough game. She (Grinham) played extremely well today," Nicol told reporters after the match.
Nicol, who admitted that she had made mistakes in the first two sets, added that "I was taken aback by my errors instead of finding ways to correct my mistakes".
On Saturday's final, she said: "Tomorrow's is tough. Hopefully, I can have a good recovery tonight".
Meanwhile, Vanessa Atkinson beat Madeline Perry 9-7, 9-0 10-9 in a good 35 minutes.Atkinson said of the performance Friday night: "I was very confident and comfortable in the first two sets. But Perry regained her momentum and played aggressively in the last set".The world's best will be vying for the CIMB championship title and prize money worth US$7000.

Pertama kali ingin diucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada FMCC kerana telah menjayakan program outing Le Tour de Langkawi yang telah berlangsung di KL Criterium. Syabas.
Walaupun saya tiba agak lewat kerana menghadiri satu majlis perkhawinan dan agak kelam-kabut, saya telah berjaya merakamkan beberapa aksi acara Le Tour de Langkawi ini. Acara ini juga merupakan "Grand Opening" kepada Canon 20D saya yang masih dikatakan "Dara" lagi  dan sedikit sebanyak memberi cabaran baru kepada saya. Saya harap sifu-sifu dan rakan-rakan dapat memberi komen, tips dan ilmu yang boleh dikongsi bersama setelah melihat gambar-gambar ini. Banyak yang saya perlu pelajari kerana ilmu didada sangatlah sedikit.
